Monologue Comptetions
Hosted by Comedian Mike Head, actors compete for prizes with value up $500. The  Monologue Contest is designed to have actors perform and showcase their talent in front of a panel of industry professionals in a extremely tight time frame: It will also gives our industry pros on the panel the opportunity to see your talent quickly.
Entry Fee:  $25   Attendee Fee:  $12

Performance guidelines for monologue contest
  • All monologues must be limited to a maximum of two minutes in length.
  • If you exceed two minutes you will not be eligible for consideration as finalists.
  • Finalists will be chosen by the judges. All decisions are final.
  • Simple set pieces such as a table, chair and stool will be available for use.
  • Begin your monologue with a short introduction. This is not included in the two-minute time-frame allotted. Time will not begin until the participant speaks the first word of the monologue or begins an action in character.
  • Be sure that introductions consist of your name and the name of the piece from which the monologue is taken.
  • No costumes, as such, should be used. Costume accessories or hand props, however, are allowed.
  • Competition is open to all legal US citizens ages 16 and older as of September 20, 2018.
